Swinton Primary School - zig zag challenge!

Local Liberal Democrat candidate David Jackson has been talking to many local people about congestion and dangers at local schools. Many schools suffer from problems with the "school run" - with cars dropping off or picking up children causing obstruction in peoples driveways as well as being a danger to young children. Parents naturally want to make sure their children arrive safely at school, however it cannot be right for thoughtless parking to cause danger and distress to residents near schools.

Local residents and worried parents have suggested more parking provision on the school grounds, stronger enforcement against careless parking and more encouragement for local children to walk to school. Let David know your ideas on this difficult issue.
